What sets the C1 Series apart?

You'll find dependably strong construction and finish, epitomized by this system's polypropylene woofer and durable rubber surround. That woofer delivers impactful lows and, along with its crossover, is specially designed for a natural roll-off transition to the highs handled by the tweeter. This "Silk Edition" (SE) system includes edge-driven silk dome tweeters that provide distinctively smooth sound, setting it apart from other speakers in its class. You'll hear crisp (but not harsh) detail in the high frequencies, incredible imaging, and minimal distortion no matter how you power them — using either car stereo or amplifier power.

Handy installation

In addition to its 6-1/2" size, JL Audio includes woofer brackets that accommodate 6-3/4" factory openings to fit a wider range of vehicles. Additionally, there are options for surface- and flush-mount tweeter installation, depending on your application. Since the crossovers for the woofers and tweeters are in line with the speaker wire, there's no need to find room for a separate component when it comes time to install your speakers.
